Global Beverages Company Coca-Cola has announced the launch of a non-fungible token (NFT) series associated with Gender Diversity. This series of Digital Collectables is designed in association with South African designer Mnisi. It will have a total of 136 pieces.
This project is getting support from Blockchain Polygon. Each NFT of this series will show the bottle of Coca Cola which will have colors like a Rainbow. These NFTs are shown on social media. They can be purchased in Polygon (Matic) cryptocurrency.
According to the price tracker of Gadgets 360, each polygon's price is around $ 0.50. The funds from the sale of this series will be given to an LGBTQ+ Charity Out selected by MNISI in a donation.
Coca-Cola is celebrating its 136th year in business this year. The company said in a blog post, "Coca-Cola has added people through connections in its presence of 136 years. We are excited to release this NFT series of Coca-Cola. Visibility will increase for the members of K Members and they will move forward. "
The use of blockchain technology in the NFT is authenticated to the tokens of unique items that are associated with digital assets that can be reproduced. These may include art, music, in-game items, and videos. They can be traded online but they cannot be duplicated.
The popularity of NFT is increasing. Sports clubs, automobile companies, and pop stars are also entering this business. Along with the web3 community in the NFT, the interest of the industry related to the metaverse is also increasing.
The META, which runs social media sites Facebook and Instagram, is preparing to start testing the display of NFT on Instagram stories with the use of its aggressive reality platform AR.
After the initial testing of the NFT display options on Instagram last month, META is now increasing the scope of testing. It also plans to bring the NFT display on Facebook soon.
