Author: SHUBHAM SINGHCategory: Crypto NewsTime: 5 Minute

Bank Bankolombia has created a team with Cryptocurrency Exchange Platform Gemini to give the convenience of bitcoin trading in South American Country Columbia.

This issue will start from December 14 as the program is sponsored by the government. Its purpose is to see a public inclination towards bitcoin trading. There are approximately 18 million customers in the remaining areas including Panama, Central America, and Guatemala of Bankolambia Bank and its subsidiaries.

Along with this partnership, more than 50 million Colombian citizens will also get the option to trade in Ether, Litecoin, and Bitcoin Cash.

One of the senior officials of Gemini Gemini, Cynthia del Pozo Garcia has said on this partnership that the crypto's nature is limited and we are committed to increasing the reach of people to crypto worldwide. This partnership is part of a pilot program operated for one year by the financial regulator of Colombia.

Although it is not clear whether Bankolambia will allow users to remove the money imposed on bitcoin or not. Meanwhile, the positive sense is being seen in Columbia.

According to a report by Triple, more than 30 million Colombian people have crypto assets. In January this year, SFC had chosen 9 crypto exchange platforms to participate in this Pro-Crypto Pilot program. Binance Binance and Mexican firm Bitso Bitso have made a place in the list with Gemini.

Meanwhile, crypto is getting different steps in countries around the world. In October, Australia's Digital Economy Minister, Jane Hume also validated the crypto space. It was said that overall crypto space is not "fad".

Recently, CEO of Australia's largest bank 'Commonwealth Bank' has also predicted large risks of not entering the digital assets industry industry. Simultaneously, he signed a partnership with major crypto players.
